Fairfax Golf Club Pro and Director, Jeff Tucker
Jeff Tucker comes from Lake Hefner Golf Course in Oklahoma City where he started as an assistant golf pro in 1986 and became the head pro in 1995. A Midwest City native, Tucker attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Tucker competes in South Central Club Professionals Tournaments, which includes Oklahoma, Arkansas and Southern Kansas. While he enjoys competing, Tucker believes his passion for the sport of golf, and his business skills, are what make him successful as a pro and club director.
Well-respected by his peers, Tucker was named the PGA Merchandiser of the Year for the South Central Section in 1996. Tucker and wife, Sharon, have two children, Amanda, 16, and Zachary, 13 and reside in northwest Oklahoma City. Both children enjoy golf.
Near I-35, Fairfax extends along Covell from Sooner Road west to North Coltrane Road in upper east Edmond. The community is within the Edmond Public School district. Fairfax contains three communities and a semi-private course with undulating greens, a wooded backdrop and several lakes.

Fairfax Grounds Superintendent John Burright
John Burright previously held the position of grounds superintendent at Oak Tree Golf and Country Club in Edmond, Oklahoma. John served as assistant superintendent, interim superintendent and superintendent while at Oak Tree.
“I really think Fairfax Golf Club has tremendous potential to be a premier course in the Metro,” said Burright. “My goal as the new superintendent is to enhance the enjoyment, growth, and vitality of the game of golf played at Fairfax.”
John has been in the golf grounds management business since 2001 and previously worked in associated businesses. John received his A.A.S, Turf grass Management training at Oklahoma State University.
John, his wife Melissa and 3-year old daughter, Remington are Edmond residents.
